My name is Stephanie Big Eagle. I am a traditional handpoke tattoo artist. I utilize both traditional and modern designs to activate one's energy, protect one's spirit, and/or honour the accomplishments and heritage of my clients. I also weave Indigenous activism into some of my designs to directly support Indigenous rights movements and their efforts to protect the earth. I carry Dakota and Lakota Sioux, Mohawk, Norse, Inuit, Mongolian, Papua New Guinean, and Irish blood, making my ancestors diverse and thus my energy planetary, rather than localized, which is reflected in my tattoo style.
