I am a Métis visual artist and cultural tattoo practitioner. As a textiles based artist it was a natural transition for me to apply my hand-sewing skills to the skin-stitch tattoo method. My tattoos use hand-poke and skin-stitch techniques. However, I am specializes in skin-stitch. I am focusing on the revival of Indigenous women’s tattooing, particularly within Cree and Métis tattoo practices.
